Shawna Vaclavek specializes in matters of family law, handling complex cases that come her way. With over nine years of experience, Shawna has seen all types of clients; these include those who harbor visitation issues, support issues, concerns regarding their financial estate, assets, custody, removal, maintenance, and divorce.
Being a fully trained and certified Fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute has made Shawna eligible to take on a number of collaborative law clients. In terms of education, Shawna graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2008 and before that from the Ferris State University.
Shawna‘s deep passion for psychology is reflected in her interest in family law as the two are interrelated as she strives not only to handle the legal aspect of things but also to act as emotional support for her client.
In her leisure time, Shawna volunteers at the Northwest Suburban Bar Association and the Warrior to Warrior Pro Bono Program wherein she aids collaborative divorces of National guards and veterans.
